Citrus Chicken Drumsticks
I usually eat a lot of chicken breast (in various forms!), especially for lunch, because it’s convenient, very easy to cook and a great source of lean protein but my favorite chicken cut is actually the drumsticks. I LOVE dark meat. Juicy, moist dark meat. Yum! And look at this beautiful golden brown crispy skin… Isn’t it salivating?
For this Citrus Chicken Drumsticks recipe, I marinated the chicken in orange, lemon and lime juice with a touch of honey and garlic. I then popped everything in the oven for 50 minutes and tada…I had myself some luscious drumsticks. And trust me, you don’t want to toss the sauce that comes with the chicken because that’s probably the best part of the dish! Enjoy 🙂
