You might ask yourself why did I choose to call my blog Not Enough Cinnamon. Sounds kind of strange, huh? Well, I’m a huge cinnamon fan. And I mean HUGE. It struck me when I tried to add ground cinnamon to my breakfast bowl of sliced banana and greek yogurt. Obviously, that was not a good idea – at all.
To those who are not cinnamon lovers like me: please don’t run away (even though I don’t get you). In fact, my cooking is really eclectic and I promise you won’t end up using cinnamon every time you’re cooking with me.
On my blog you’ll find a great variety of recipes.
Most of them are healthy and good for your waist line. You’ll notice that the majority of my recipes have around 300 to 400 cal per serving, no more. However, they absolutely don’t taste skinny, no worries.
I strongly believe in the 80/20 rule : you can eat 20% indulgent food as long as the 80% left is healthy. So you might see a few “not so healthy” recipes around here
I cook and share lots of american recipes but I was born and raised in Paris. My first steps in the kitchen were french-inspired and I guess you can feel it in my recipes. I also love italian food since I travel a lot to Italy, and Rome is kind of my second home. I recently became addicted to Asian food thanks to my boyfriend Solal (the sweet teddy bear holding me on the pic). He is crazy about it, especially Vietnamese food, and so am I now! Generally speaking I’ve been discovering lots of new «exotic» kind of food lately, and I’m always excited to try new things.
For one year, I’ll be living in Sydney, Australia. If you want to find out more about this trip, why I did it, what I’m going to do etc. check out this article where I tell you all about it.
Or you could just head over to my Recipe Index and decide which recipes you wanna try
