Clean Eating Gingerbread Smoothie
Aren’t these gingerbread men the cutest little things?! I’m all about edible cuteness, especially when it tastes so damn good! Ginger, cinnamon, molasses… I absolutely love these holiday flavors. They make your tummy jolly and your house smell so festive!
Now, what if I told you that you could drink your favorite holiday cookie (sort of!) AND boost its nutrition factor? Clean Eating Gingerbread Smoothie, girl! That’s the secret! The combination of banana, almond milk, almond butter, blackstrap molasses, maple syrup and spices completely recreates the taste of these cute little men. And the addition of fresh ginger makes it a great source of antioxidants and will help you build a healthy immune system.
Just like that, gingerbread has become a perfectly acceptable breakfast option!

- 2 cups unsweetened almond milk
- 1 large frozen banana
- 1 tbsp almond butter
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tbsp blackstrap molasses
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp fresh ginger (use less if you prefer a subtle ginger flavour)
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger powder
- a pinch of allspice
- Place all the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
- Serve immediately.
